Day 1- ARRIVE Mumbai |
Depart for Bombay Arrive Bombay in the evening. Welcome at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel |
Day 2- BOMBAY - NANDED- HAZOOR SAHIB (Train – 2100 - 0930) |
In the morning take a cruise in the Arabian Sea to see the famous Elephanta Caves- Hewn out of solid rock, the Elephanta Caves date back to 600 AD, The cave complex is a collection of shrines, courtyards, inner cells, grand halls and porticos arranged in the splendid symmetry of Indian rock-cut architecture, and filled with exquisite stone sculptures of Hindu Gods and Goddesses represented in many reincarnations. Return to hotel for lunch and thereafter checkout. After Lunch proceed for the city tour of Bombay - visiting Gateway of India – The imposing stone archway in Indo-Saracenic architecture built in 1911 , Hanging Gardens, the Aquarium and Marine Drive (also known) as "Queens Necklace". The street lights shinning like jewels at night In the evening, transfer to railway station to connect train for Nanded. Night on board. |
Day 3- HAZOOR SAHIB |
Arrive Nanded, and transfer to Hazoor Sahib - Hazoor Sahib is on the bank of River Godavari in Maharashtra. This is where Guru Gobind Singh attained eternity. Rest of the day at leisure. It is one of the 5 Akal Takhats of Sikh religion. |
Day 4- HAZOOR SAHIB |
Full day in Hazoor Sahib and Gurdwars. In the evening watch and participate in the kirtan followed by Aarti sung with utmost devotion and fervour Overnight at hotel. |
Day 5/6- HAZOOR SAHIB-NANAK CHIRA GURUDWARA- Optional-HAZOOR SAHIB |
Depart in the early morning for pictureseque qnd historical Nanak Chira Gurudwara asscociated with Guru Nanak located in Karnataka and return to Hazoor Sahib the following day to partcipate in Kirtan and Aarti sung with utmost devotion and fervour Overnight at hotel. |
Day 7- HAZOOR SAHIB - AURANGABAD (215 Kms-5 hrs) - DELHI |
(Flight – IC 888 1730-2055) Morning transfer to Aurnagabad upon arrival transfer to airport for flight to Delhi Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel. |
Day 8- DELHI - HARIDWAR (Train – 700 1130) - SRINAGAR (220 kms - 6 hrs) |
Morning board shatabdi express train for Haridwar, upon arrival proceed to Sringar. Arrive and check in to hotel Rest of the day at leisure to relax. Overnight at hotel |
Day 9- SRINGAR-GOBIND GHAT-50Kmms- GOBIND DHAM ( 15 kms) |
After breakfast depart for Gobind Ghat, thereafter trek towards Gobind Dham (14 kms - 5-7 hrs) From the bridge cross the Alaknanda (at Gobind Ghat), it is 14 kilometres to the next settlement, Ghanghria or Gobind Dham as the Sikhs call it Ghangharia is actually just a large meadow. The track runs all along the Bhyundyar Ganga, ascending and descending at regular intervals, thus giving the trekker ample respite from both types of strains. One passes through a varied forest of many types of trees and several meadows covered with dandelions.
The gurudwara at Gobind Dham is placed strategically at a point where most pilgrims are too tired to go much further for the day. The gurudwara at Gobind Dham gives an even stronger impression than the one at Gobind Ghat of being specifically created to take care of the pilgrims. Day 10- GOBIND DHAM - HEMKUND SAHIB (5 Kms) - GOBIND DHAM |
Morning proceed for the trek towards Hemkund Sahib (5 Kms) - Set amidst towering snow-capped mountains and lying beside a lake of pristine blue water, the Sikh shrine of Sri
Hemkund Sahib looks, even to the not-particularly-pious, a place of almost unbelievable beauty and peace. Seven peaks - known as the Sapt Sring- surround the shrine, looming over lush green pastures.
The lake’s rocky shores are covered with snow through most of the year, but when the snows melt, the almost mythical yellow-green flower known as the Brahma Kamal, the `Lotus of the Gods’, blooms amidst the rocks. It’s a place of a rather wild and untamed beauty- and one of Sikhism’s most important shrines.
The tenth and penultimate guru of the Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh, meditated for years in these mountains, finally leaving his earthly form and uniting with the Almighty. The star-shaped Gurudwara
Hemkund Sahib, at a height of over 4,000 mt, is as such, a memorial to Guru Gobind Singh and a reminder of the saint’s mission Full day at

After an early breakfast transfer to Haridwar. Upon arrival check in to hotel Rest of the day at leisure to relax in the hotel. Overnight at hotel. |
Day 13- HARIDWAR - FATEHGARH SAHIB (SIRHIND) - LUDHIANA (306 Kms) |
After breakfast depart for Ludhiana, enroute we stop at Sirhind – standing amidst the ruins of beautiful mosques and tombs, Sirhind was an important city during the Mughal period. Visit Fatehgarh Sahib Gurudwara – which marks the spot where guru Gobind Singh’s yourer sons were bricked alive. Thereafter continue towards Ludhiana. Arrive and check in to hotel. Overnight at hotel. |
Day 14- LUDHIANA - SULTANPUR LODHI - GOBINDWAL SAHIB - TARAN TARAN - AMRITSAR (180 Kms) |
Morning, leave for Amritsar, enroute visit Sultanpur Lodhi – Guru Nanak, the founder of the Sikh faith, spent 14 years in Sultanpur Lodhi, situated in Kapurthala district of Punjab. His brotber-in-law,Jai Ram, got him employed in the service of Nawab Daulat Khan Lodhi who was much impressed by the intellectual equipment of Nanak. The Nawab offered him the portfolio of Household Minister but Nanak preferred the administration of Provision Supplies Department, the Modikhana. Probabiy it was concerned with charitable institution, helping the poor and the needy.
Then depart to visit Gobindwal Sahib - or Darbar Sahib Baoli Sahib, located 30kms away was the centre of Sikh religion during the time of the 3rd Sikh Guru Amar Dasji. The deep baoli (step-well) in the Gurudwara has 84 steps. The faithful believe that if you recite Jap Ji Sahib, the divine composition of the first Prophet of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Devji at each step after a bath in the well, you live out the cycle of 84,000 lives (representing the species created by God) and attain moksha (liberation of soul). After the visit continue towards 'Tarn Taran.' Gurudwara Tarn Taran Sahib, is situated at a distance of 22 km south-east of Amritsar city. It was built by Guru Arjun Dev, in the Mughal style, in memory of Guru Ram Das. Its dome is covered with copper gilt. It is located on the edge of a big tank whose water is believed to cure leprosy. So, affected persons have been visiting this holy shrine for the last four centuries to seek cure of their lacerated wounds caused by leprosy. A big fair is held here every month, an amavas day. Option to visit
'Goindwal Sahib,' where the third and fourth Gurus lived and fifth Guru were born. Visit 'Khadur Sahib.' Thereafter continue to Amritsar. Arrive and check in to hotel. Overnight at hotel |
Day 15- AMRITSAR |
Morning proceed to visit 'Golden temple' built in 1601. The foundation stone it is believed was laid by a Muslim saint at the invitation of Guru Arjan devji. Then visit Akal Takht – adjacent to the Golden Temjple is the marble-paved square in which stands the Akal Takht (important Throne) established by the sixth Sikh Guru, Guru Hargobind, this is the supreme seat of the Sikh religious authority. The Akal Takht is also the repository of the viarios weapons used by the Gurus. Also visit 'Jalianwala' Bagh. Many patriots and innocent people were killed during the British rule. Return to hotel and overnight. |
Day 16- AMRITSAR / MACHIAWARA / ANANDPUR SAHIB ( 195 Kms) |
Morning depart to visit ' Gurudwara Machiwara' - This holy place is sanctified by the visit of Guru Gobind Singh. Thereafter, continue towards Anandpur Sahib. It was here at Anandpur (city of bliss) that Guru Gobind Singhji administered "Amrit" to the first batch of 5 Sikhs. Anandpur Sahib is a Picturesque Village, a 17th Century Fortress and an Impressive Gurudwara, is one of the holiest Sikh Shrines. Apart from the famous gurudwara, this historical site also boasts of an imposing 17th century fortress Arrive and check in to hotel Later in the evening visit Kiratpur by the banks of Sutlej River. Overnight at hotel. |
Day 17- ANANDPUR SAHIB / JALANDHAR (100 Kms) |
After leasurely breakfast leave for Jalandhar Arrive Jalandhar and proceed on own to their houses Tour ends |
