Auli is nestled in the lap of the snow-capped peaks of Garhwal Himalayas in the district of western Uttar Pradesh, near the world-famous religious shrine of Badrinath

At an altitude of 2,500-3,050 meters above sea level, Auli's well dressed slopes are flanked by coniferous and oak forests and offer a panoramic view of Mt.Nanda Devi, Mana Parbat, Dungagiri, Beethartoli, Nilkanth, Hathi Parbat and Ghori Parbat.

HOW TO GET THERE :

For those travelling by air, the nearest airport is at Jolly Grant (17 kms. form Rishikesh, 26 kms. from Dehradhun and 270 kms. from Auli).
Coming from any part of India, the nearest rail-heads are Haridwar and Dehradhun. Haridwar is connected by Haridwar-Dehradhun Express, Delhi-Dehradhun Express, Mumbai-Dehradhun Express and Delhi-Dehradhun Shatabdi Express.
Auli is only 13 kms. drive from Joshimath. Distance from Delhi (500 kms), Dehradhun (295 kms.), Haridwar (276 kms.), Rishikesh (253 kms.)
