Day 01: Arrive Delhi.
Arrive Delhi and meet the ITS representative at the arrival hall,
transfer to hotel where we will be holding rooms on ready occupancy
basis. Relax and overnight in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi sight seeing tour
Morning take a sight seeing tour of the capital city. The important
places in Old Delhi includes the majestic Red Fort, the historical
Chandni Chowk, besides Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana. In New Delhi includes
the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the one-time imperial residence of the British
viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian
soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxmi Narayan Temple,
built by the Birlas, one of Indias leading industrial families;
Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; and
the lotus-shaped Bahai Temple. Evening free to relax or individual
activities, overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Delhi - Sikandra - Agra (Surface - 200 kms - 4 hours)
Morning checkout and drive to Agra, enroute visit Tomb of Mughal
Emperor Akbar at Sikandra, is a magnificent gateway covered with
floral and geometrical arabesque decoration in white and colored
marble with four elegant minarets. Arrive Agra and check
in at hotel. Later proceed for the city sightseeing tour visiting
The Taj Mahal, which is entirely made of white marble and its walls
are decorated with exquisite Pietra Dura (stone inlay) work. Also
visit Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort), which retains the irregular
outline of the demolished mud-wall fort of the Lodis. Later visit
Tomb of Itam-Ud-Daulah located in a walled garden overlooking the
River of Yamuna and also known as replica of Taj Mahal, this monument
is worth visiting. Rest of the evening visit the souvenirs market
of Agra, one should visit Oswal Emporium where they have built a
mini Taj Mahal inside their showroom and it took 10 years for the
artists to complete the mini replica of the Taj. The show room conducts
free sound & light show showing the eras of Taj Mahal. Overnight
in Agra.
Day 4: Agra - Fatehpur/ Sikri - Jaipur (230 kms - 5 hours)
Morning checkout and drive to Jaipur- the pink city enroute visit
the Old Capital of Mughal Dynasty Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri
was intended to be the capital city but the shortage of water and
unrest in the north-west made Akbar abandon it. Continue journey
to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur by late afternoon and check in at
hotel. Evening visit Temple of Galta also known as Valleys of Monkeys,
later drive through Sisodia Gardens visit the pure white marble
Temple built by Birlas - one of the leading corporate of India,
at the time of dinner one can visit Chokhi Dhani an ethnic resort
serving international cuisines with live folk dance & music.
Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur sight seeing tour with elephant ride at Amber
Fort.
Morning take an excursion to Amber Fort, situated just outside the
city, Enjoy the experience of traveling on elephant back to and
from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Afternoon
sightseeing tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace in the heart of
Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.
Not far away is the Central Museum. Jantar Mantar, is the largest
of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal
or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch
the royal processions without being seen. All the above monuments
are located in the vicinity of City Palace Complex of Jaipur. Later
late afternoon is kept free to visit the famous Markets of Textiles,
Gems, Carpets, and handicrafts. Jaipur is an ideal place for buying
souvenirs. One can also visit Nahargarh Fort to see it illuminated
over the flood lights. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Jaipur - Shekhawati - Bikaner (Surface - 350 kms - 7
hours)
After early breakfast checkout and drive to the Citadel City of
Bikaner, enroute visit Shekhawati town known for its beautiful frescos
- visit the famous Singhania & Anandilal Poddar Haveli which
are the land marks of the town of Shekhawati. Later proceed to Bikaner,
on arrival transfer to hotel. Evening free to relax, overnight at
the hotel.
Day 7: Bikaner sight seeing tour with excursion tour to Karni
Mata Temple.
Morning take a sightseeing tour of Bikaner including Lalgarh palace
Complex, Junagadh Fort, built by Rai Singh between 1588 and 1593,
has a 986-metre-long wall with 37 bastions and Rampuria Haveli located
in between the small crowded lanes of Bikaner. Also visit the government-managed
Camel Research and Breeding Farm is only one of its kinds in Asia,
one can also taste the milk of Camel over here. Later early evening
visit take an excursion tour to Karni Mata Temple at Deshnok - 30
kms, it quite amusing to know that at this temple rats are held
sacred and found in thousands roaming freely in the temple complex.
It is believed that it brings bad luck if you stamp on any of the
rats and it is also believed that it is very lucky to spot a white
rat. Enjoy sunset over this semi desert town and drive back to Bikaner,
overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Bikaner - Gajner - Fort Pokhran - Jaisalmer (Surface
- 333 kms - 6 hours)
Morning checkout and drive to Jaisalmer, enroute drive a off beat
track of 15 kms to visit the historic & Heritage Gajner Palace
over looking the Gajner Lake & surrounded by Gajner wild life
Sanctuary. Later drive to Pokhran after driving for 180 kms, one
can enroute visit the Shrine of Ram Deora Peer which draws devotees
of all communities, later proceed to Pokhran on arrival visit Fort
Pokhran. Get refreshed at many restaurants available at Pokhran.
Later drive for 2 hours to reach Jaisalmer an extra ordinary city
called Golden City where every building and even the lamp post are
golden due to local golden stone available in the City of Jaisalmer.
On arrival transfer to hotel, evening free to relax, overnight at
the hotel.
Day 9: Jaisalmer sight seeing tour with camel rides for desert
experience at Sam Sand Dunes
Morning take a sight seeing tour of Jaisalmer City visiting the
99 bastion fort dominating the city of Jaisalmer and the exquisite
carved Havelis of Salim Singh, Patwon and Nathumal which are land
marks of Jaisalmer city. Afternoon free to relax at the hotel, at
1500 hrs drive to Sam Sand Dunes enroute visit Bada Bagh to see
the Royal Cenotaphs (Called Chhatris in the local Language), Lodurwa
Temple - an ancient Jain Pilgrimage, Amar Sagar & Mool Sagar
Lake, after enrooting all this places proceed to Sam Sand Dunes,
arrive Kanoi which is just 3 kms before dunes of Sam and transfer
on Camels to enjoy this 3 kms country side ride to the dunes of
Jaisalmer. Enjoy sunset on Camels back over the dunes and drive
back to Jaisalmer for overnight.
Day 10: Jaisalmer - Ruins of Ossian Temples - Jodhpur (Surface
- 290 kms - 6 hours)
Morning checkout and drive to Jodhpur, enroute take a off beat drive
to reach Ossian Temples which is a Jain Pilgrimage, after visiting
this ancient temples drive to Jodhpur, on arrival transfer to hotel.
Day free to relax or explore Jodhpur on own. One can enjoy dinner
at " On the Rocks Restaurant " in Ajit Bhawan Palace Hotel
if not staying at Ajit Bhawan. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Jodhpur
Early morning take an excursion tour to villages of Bishnoi's
35 kms from Jodhpur. While touring the village you can see the tribal
life staying in tent like houses made out of mud and making pot
& Dhurie out side there houses. While you are approaching this
area of Bishnoi's you will find herds of deer, Deers are worshipped
by the Bishnois tribe and is protected by them from Poachers
hence this place is best to spot the rare breed of deers like
black buck. Morning take a sight seeing tour of Jodhpur including
Clock Tower, Mehrangarh Fort situated at an altitude of about 125
meters and is spread over an area of 5 sq. km and it has seven gates,
Jaswant Thada is a white marble memorial built in memory of Maharaja
Jaswant II in 1899 on the foot hills of Mehrangarh Fort, also visit
Umaid Bhawan which is a majestic Palace building that presently
functions as a hotel and museum. Afternoon free to relax, early
evening take an excursion tour to the Heritage Palace of Balsamand
- 20 kms away over looking the lake of Balsamand. Drive back to
the hotel, Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Jodhpur - Udaipur (Surface - 275 kms - 5 hours)
Morning checkout and drive to Udaipur. Arrive Udaipur enroute visit
the famous 12th Century Temple of Ranakpur which has 108 carved
pillars each different from other, the Temple is surrounded by thick
green wild life sanctuary of Kumbhalgarh, later drive to Udaipur
enroute visiting Kumbhalgarh Fort built by Rana Kumbha known for
its 36 kms long wall surrounding the fort with 360 temples inbuilt
in the wall. Proceed to Udaipur while driving through Nagda Ruins
one can stop to see the ancient Sas - Bahu Temple & Eklingji
Temple on the bank of Lake Bageela, also see the dome of a temple
emerging out of this lake which would have been submerged in this
lake in yester years. One can see this temple dome due to scanty
rainfall from the past 3 to 4 years. Arrive Udaipur and transfer
to hotel. Early evening free to take a walking tour on your own
through the narrow lanes and back streets of Udaipur upto the Washing
Ghats at the lake Pichola. Enjoy Boat ride at Lake Pichola and also
opt for dinner at Lake Palace Hotel situated in between Lake Pichola.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 13: Udaipur sight seeing tour.
Morning take a sightseeing tour of Udaipur visiting The City Palace
Complex visit Durbar Hall, Crystal Gallery, Palace Museum and Jagdish
Temple. City Palace is considered as the largest palace complex
in Rajasthan. Later in the day visit Sajjangarh Fort now converted
into a communication tower, Maharana Pratap Memorial which has the
bronze statue of Maharana Pratap, the legendary warrior king of
Udaipur. Early evening visit Saheliyon Ki Bari which is a small
ornamental garden built in the honour of Royal Ladies for recreational
purpose and visit Lok Kala Mandal & Shilpgram to see the village
arts & crafts. Rest of the evening is kept free for individual
activities, overnight at the hotel in Udaipur.
Day 14: Udaipur - Chittaurgarh - Udaipur - Delhi (By Air at
1930 hrs) - Back Home.
Morning checkout, and take an excursion tour to Chittaurgarh Fort,
the fort is spreaded over 13 square kms, unlike other forts you
can explore this fort by the vehicle you are traveling visit the
Museum, Rani Padminis Palace, Man Palace, Towers of Peace &
Victory and several ruins of Temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. One
can have lunch at Pratap Palace Hotel in Chittaurgarh & return
before evening by 1700 hrs to Udaipur. Transfer to airport in time
at 1830 hrs to board the flight for Delhi at 1930 hrs, assistance
on arrival in Delhi at 2100 hrs, transfer to International airport
to board the flight back home.
Extension to Goa & Bombay (Mumbai)
Day 14: Udaipur - Chittaurgarh - Udaipur - Bombay (Mumbai) (By
Air at 1930 hrs)
Morning checkout, and take an excursion tour to Chittaurgarh Fort,
the fort is spreaded over 13 square kms, unlike other forts you
can explore this fort by the vehicle you are traveling visit the
Museum, Rani Padminis Palace, Man Palace, Towers of Peace &
Victory and several ruins of Temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. One
can have lunch at Pratap Palace Hotel in Chittaurgarh & return
before evening by 1700 hrs to Udaipur. Transfer to airport in time
at 1830 hrs to board the flight for Bombay at 1930 hrs, assistance
on arrival in Bombay at 2100 hrs, relax & overnight at the hotel
in Bombay.
Day 15: Bombay (Mumbai) sight seeing tour.
Morning take a sight seeing tour of Bombay, drive to Gateway of
India and from here cruise by motor boats to Elephanta Caves. A
flight of 100 steps takes you to the top of the hill where it is
set. The caves houses large pillars that seem to hold the ceiling
which is made of cross beams. The picturesque presentation of the
9 marvelous sculptured panels, set on the walls are awe-inspiring.
The most famous of the panels is the Trimurthi, or triple-headed
Shiva, where the God is depicted as the destroyer, the preserver
and the creator. Later in the afternoon cruise back to Gateway of
India, one can have lunch at the Taj Hotel or other several good
Restaurants like Leopold & Mondegar serving continental cuisines.
Later visit Prince of Wales Museum, Parliament House, Marine Drive,
Jain Temple, Hanging Gardens, Return back to the hotel for overnight.
Day 16: Bombay (Mumbai) to Goa (By air at 1300 hrs)
Morning day free to relax, transfer to domestic airport to board
the flight for Goa at 1300 hrs, assistance on arrival in Goa at
1400 hrs, transfer to beach resort. Day free to enjoy & acquaint
the beach. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 17: Goa sight seeing tour
Morning day free to enjoy the amenities available at the resort.
In the afternoon take a sight seeing tour of Goa visiting the famous
Church of Basilica of Bom Jesus where the body St. Xaviers is kept
in a casket. Later visit Old Goa to see the Portugal Forts &
Churches, and in the evening enjoy Cruise over Mandovi River. Drive
back to the beach resort for overnight.
Day 18: Goa
Day free to relax, one can visit the famous beaches of Goa like
Anjuna Beach, Colva Beach & Calangute Beach. Overnight at the
Beach resort.
Day 19: Goa
Day free for individual activities.
Day 20: Goa
Day free for individual activities in Goa.
Day 21: Goa - Bombay (Mumbai) - Back home
Morning day free to relax, late afternoon transfer to airport to
board the flight for Bombay at 1500 hrs, assistance on arrival in
Bombay at 1600 hrs, transfer to hotel, day free to relax, later
in the day checkout and transfer to International airport to board
the flight back home.
