01 (Wednesday) Delhi
Breakfast at the hotel. Later sightseeing of New Delhi - drive past
the stately government buildings of the British Era designed by
Lutyens, including the India Gate & the Presidential Palace.
Continue onto the beautiful Humayun's tomb of the Mughal era &
predecessor of the world famous Taj Mahal. End of the tour at the
towering minaret of Qutab Minar. Thereafter proceed to Delhi Cantt.
Railway station to Board the Royal Orient Train.
Day 02 (Thursday) Chittaurgarh
Arrive at 0530 hrs at Chittaurgarh - The pride and glory of Rajasthan.
Chittaurgarh echoes with the tales of romance and valour unique
to the Rajput tradition. A ruined citadel, where the royal past
lives in its imposing forts, graceful palaces and spectacular 'chhatris'.
Visit to Chittaurgarh Fort. Dep. (0900 hrs) for Udaipur - Udaipur
- set around the vast Pichola Lake and dominated by dramatic palaces,
Udaipur is surely Rajasthan most picturesque city. Visit the romantic
and stunning white marble Palace built on an island in the Lake
Pichola, the magnificent City Palace - built in 1725, the ancient
palaces of the Mewar Royal Family for centuries, the Jagdish temple,
the pleasure gardens and a drive around the other nearby lakes.

Early evening visit the City Palace, Tripolia Gates, Saheliyon-ki-Bari
(Royal Gardens), and Shilpgram (Craft Village). Dep. (1750 hrs.)

Day 03 (Friday) Mehsana / Ahmedabad
Arrive at 0645 hrs at Mehsana - The district owes its name to the
town of Mehsana founded by Mahesaji or Masaji - a ruler of Chavada
dynasty in 12th/13th century AD. Visit to Sun temple at Modhera,
Rani-ki-vav & Patola weaving Centre at Patan. Dep. (1115 hrs.)
for Ahmedabad - Arr. (1245 hrs.) at Ahmedabad - proceed To hotel
for lunch. It was founded by Sultan Ahmed Shah, the erstwhile ruler
of Medieval Gujarat, in AD 1411. The city declined within a century
of its being established. In 1572, Emperor Akbar seized it and assimilated
it within the great Mughal Empire. The city became an important
business center during the Mughal period until the death of Aurangzeb
in 1707, after which the city again began to decline. The British
seized the city in 1818 and set up a number of textile mills here.
Today's Ahmedabad is famous for its textile mills and is often referred
to as the 'Manchester of the East' PM. Sightseeing - Adalaj Step
well, Gandhi Ashram, Calico Textile's Museum, Hathi Singh Jain Temple,
Sidi Sayyad's mosque and shopping. Dep. (2015 hrs.) for Sasan Gir.

Day 04 (Saturday) Sasan Gir / Ahmedpur - Mandvi / Diu
Breakfast on board. On Arr. (0800 hrs.) Sasan Gir. Visit the lion
sanctuary. Optional sightseeing of Somnath temple. Dep. (1115 hrs.)
for Delwada. Lunch on board. Visit to Ahmedpur Mandvi beach and
Diu Fort and St. Paul' Church. Dep. (2000 hrs.) for Palitana. Dinner
on board.
Day 05 (Sunday) Palitana and Sarkhij
Breakfast on board. On Arr. Palitana, visit to 863 Jain temples
atop Shatrunjaya Hills. The 3,572 steps can be climbed or chair
slings can be used. Dep. (1200 hrs.) for Sarkhej. Lunch on board.
On Arr. Sarkhej, have dinner at Vishalla village. Dep. (2230 hrs.)
for Udaipur.
Day 06(Monday) Arrival Udaipur / Ranakpur
Breakfast on board. Arr. (0715 hrs.) in Udaipur - set around the
vast Pichola Lake and dominated by dramatic palaces, Udaipur is

Day 07 (Tuesday) Jaipur
Breakfast on board. On Arr. (0750 hrs.) Jaipur. the city-capital
in the tone of an autumnal sunset, literally lush pink when prince
Albert, the consort of Queen Victoria, stepped on its soil in 1883.
Interspersing the play of red and pink were white borders and motifs,
painstakingly outlining the architectural highlights of Jaipur's
buildings. Jaipur had been like that since 1727 when Maharaja Sawai
Jai Singh II had it built that year. Visit to Amer Fort and Hawa
Mahal. Lunch at the hotel. PM. Visit to the city palace and Jantar
Mantar (observatory). Dep. (2155 hrs.) for Delhi. Dinner on board.
Day 08 (Wednesday) Arrival Delhi
Arr. (0700 hrs.) Delhi Cantt. Rly. Station. & Transfer to airport
in time to board the international flight to the onward destination.
