Day 01: Arrive Cochin
Arrive Cochin - This city, with one of the finest Natural harbours
in the World, has been Keralas center of trade for innumerable
centuries. With its beautiful setting on a cluster of islands, narrow
peninsulas and a long history. Immigration / customs. Welcome with

Day 02: Cochin
Morning city tour of Cochin. Cochin has one of the oldest churches
in India, 500 years old Portuguese houses, cantilevered Chinese
fishing nets, the historical Palace built by the Portuguese, Jew
town, complete with an immaculately preserved synagogues. Also visit
Mantanacherrry Palace : Built by the Portuguese. More important
are the astonishing Murals, depicting scenes from the Ramayana,
Mahabaratha and puranic legends connected with Shiva, Vishnu, Krishna
Kumara and Durga. These beautiful murals rarely seem to be mentioned,
although they are one of the wonders of India. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 03: Cochin - Munnar (134 km s - 3 hours )
Morning proceed for Munnar, located at the Idukki district of Kerala
State in India. The word "Munnar" means three rivers.
3 mountain streams (Madurapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala) are joining
together here. During the British rule in India, Munnar was the
summer resort of the Government officials. The natural beauty, calmness
and mild cold climate throughout the year makes it the favourite
tourist place There are about 30 tea plantations in and around Munnar.
The tea estates, hills, lakes and forests inside Munnar range exposes
it's beauty. The Munnar hills are covered by tea plants which makes
the feeling of seeing a wide green carpet. Later in the afternoon
visit Kannan Devan Hills from here you can have a panoramic view
of Munnar Tea Estates & the Lake of Munnar. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 04: Munnar - Thekkady (110 kms - 3 hours)
Morning proceed to Thekkady or Periyar National Park set high in
the ranges of the Western Ghats in Kerala. Arrive and check in to
the hotel. In the afternoon we set out to discover the park, animals
found here include elephant, sambar, gaur and wild Animals found

ibis and grey heron. The visit is done in a boat to view animals
with a bit of extra luck we may be able to see the rare tiger as
well. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Thekkady Kumarakom (130 kms - 3 hours)
Morning drive to Kumarakom, on arrival transfer to Lake Side Resorts.
Rest of the day is free to visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary or take
canoe ride in the narrow canals (back waters), or just relax at
the hotel & opt for an ayurvedic massage. Overnight in Kumarakom.
Day 06: Kumarakom - Alleppey (By overnight Houseboats (Kettuvellam)
Morning houseboat will report at the hotel/ resort in Kumarakom
board the houseboats & cruise to Alleppey for an overnight cruise.
The journey will take us through the tropical countryside enchanting
backwaters of Alleppey to Palm fringed narrow canals winding through
the vast expanse of paddy fields and the neat tiny hamlets, typical
villages and regattas (boats snakes) for which Kerala is very famous.
Evening enjoy sunset from the sun-deck of the houseboats. All meals
will be served on houseboats. Overnight on board.
Day 07: Alleppey - Kovalam (165 kms - 4 hours)
Arrive Alleppey jetty at 0900 hrs, assistance on arrival continue
your journey to Kovalam sand beaches, the cool breeze that
silently ruffles the coconut lagoons, the lush waves that extend
an embracing welcome and the silence that magnifies the zenith of
a cool wave - the beach sands of Kovalam, the exotic beach resort
down Kerala that has its history blended into the warm sands of
time. There are stories of valour, love and suffering wanting to
be told in the backyards of history. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Kovalam - Trivandrum - Cape Camorin - Kovalam
Morning tour of Trivandrum city, the capital of the state of Kerala
is a beautiful seaside city built on seven hills. The famous Sri
Padmanabhaswamy Swami Temple is dedicated to Vishnu and is a landmark
in the city. Later drive to Cape Camorin also known as Kanya Kumari
- 84 kms, this place is at the tail tip end of India, one can see
the 3 seas meet over here (Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean & bay of
Bengal) on arrival visit Kumari Amman Devi Temple, Vivekananda Rock
& Ashram, enjoy sunset over here & drive back to Kovalam
for overnight.
Day 09: Kovalam
Day at leisure near the beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Kovalam - Trivandrum - Back Home
In time transfer to Trivandrum airport to board the flight back
home.
