Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi and meet the ITS representative at the arrival hall and
transfer to hotel. Relax & overnight in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi
Morning tour of Old Delhi: visit the majestic Red Fort, the historical
Chandni Chowk, besides Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana. Afternoon tour
of New Delhi, visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the one-time imperial
residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised
in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war;
the Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of Indias
leading industrial families; Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din
Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; and the lotus-shaped Bahai Temple. Evening
free at leisure, overnight in Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi - Bagdogra (By air at 0900 hrs / 1100 hrs) - Darjeeling
(90 kms - 3 hours)
Morning transfer to airport for flight to Bagdogra Take-off for
Bagdogra. Arrival and continuation by the road towards Darjeeling,
queen of the mountains, through a landscape of wooded hills of tea
plants. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free
or walk around the Mall Overnight at the hotel
Day 4: Darjeeling
In the morning visit the highest spot in the area at 2590m, Tiger
Hill is near Ghoom, about 11km from Darjeeling. The hill is famous
for its magnificent dawn views over Kanchenjunga and other eastern
Himalayan peaks. On a clear day even Mount Everest is visible. Visit
the Observatory hill & Tibetian refugee camp. Rest of the day
at free. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Darjeeling - Pemayangtse (90 kms - 3 hours)
Morning proceed for Pemayangtse - The mighty Kanchenjunga overlooks
the land of Sikkim and Pemayangtse in Sikkim nestles close to Kanchenjunga.
Pemayangtse is not a settlement. This is where 6000 ft above sea
level one of the most famous Buddhist monasteries is located. The
Pemayangtse monastery is the second oldest monastery in Sikkim and
is the headquarters of the Nyingma sect. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Pemayangtse - Gangtok (100 kms - 3 hours)
Morning proceed to Gangtok The state of Sikkim lies in the shadow
of the mighty Kanchenjunga and its capital, Gangtok, is a picturesque
mountain clinging town with monasteries, parks, pagoda style houses
and colourful bazaars. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 7: Gangtok - Phodung - Gangtok
Morning visit the Monastery at Phodung, enroute stop for panoramic
view of Himalayas. Later return to Gangtok. Afternoon visit Research
Institute of Tibetology that contains splendid old books, objects
sac rings, superb painted tankas. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Gangtok - Tashiding - Gangtok
Morning proceed for the excursion to TASHIDING Monastery, Perched
on top of the hill, it overhangs in the medium of the two rivers
Rathong and Rangit and surrounded by a profusion of flags of prayers.

Day 9: Gangtok
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Afternoon visit the Chorten, Deer
park, Enchey Monastery, Orchid Sanctuary, Tashi View Point, Dharma
Chakra Centre (Rumtek) and Saramsa Garden. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Gangtok - Kalimpong (55 kms - 2 hours)
Morning proceed to Kalimpong - situated at an altitude of 1250 meters
between the Deolo and Durbindra Hills, Kalimpong is an ideal place
for a quiet holiday amidst gently rolling hills and deep valleys
at the foot of the mighty Himalayas. Upon arrival check in at hotel.
Afternoon visit Durpin Dara; Flower nurseries Gouripur House; Swiss
Welfare Dairy & Tibetan Monastery. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Kalimpong - Bagdogra (65 kms - 2 hours) - Delhi (By
air at 1115 hrs / 1425 hrs)
Morning in time transfer to Bagdogra airport for flight to Delhi.
Assistance on arrival at Delhi airport transfer to hotel. Evening
free to relax, overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Delhi - Back home
In time transfer to airport to board the flight back home.
